1. Ordering & PaymentList Item 1
Acceptance: By placing an order via our website, social media, or phone, you agree to these Terms.
Payment Method: Payment is due at the time of delivery. We accept Cash or E-transfer. If paying by E-transfer, funds must be sent and confirmed before the driver leaves the delivery site.
Pricing: Prices are subject to change based on seasonal availability and delivery distance. Your price is locked in once your order is confirmed.

2. Delivery & Site AccessList Item 2
Schedule: Delivery dates are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, or mechanical issues.
Access Requirements: Customers must provide a clear path for the delivery truck.
Driveway Policy: Our drivers are instructed to stay on paved or hard-packed surfaces only. We will not drive on lawns, soft ground, or over septic tanks to avoid the truck getting stuck or damaging your property.

3. Cancellations & FeesList Item 3
Cancellation Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
Late Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows at the time of delivery, may be subject to a $30 "Truck-on-Road" fee to cover fuel and labor.

4. Product DisclaimerList Item 4
Natural Product: Firewood is a natural resource. You acknowledge that logs vary in size, shape, and thickness. Every load is unique and may contain a small percentage of bark and wood chips.
Moisture Content: While we strive to provide seasoned wood, external conditions (rain/snow) during transit may cause surface moisture. It is the customer’s responsibility to stack and store wood in a dry, ventilated area.
Insects & Organisms: As a natural product, wood may contain insects or surface mold. Sam Firewood is not liable for any issues arising from the storage of wood near or inside a residence.

5. Liability & Property Damage
Property Damage: Sam Firewood is not liable for damage to driveways (cracking/staining), curbs, lawns, or underground utilities resulting from the weight or operation of the delivery vehicle. By directing the driver onto your property, you assume all risk.
Safety: Customers and pets must remain at a safe distance from the vehicle during the tipping/unloading process.

6. Returns & Complaints
Complaint duration: Any concern regarding wood quality or quantity must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Final Sale: Due to the high cost of transport and the nature of the product, all sales are final once the wood has been dropped at your location. We do not offer returns or pickups of delivered wood.
